Formal Recognition
The European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights (EIPRHR) is formally established as an AISBL — Association Internationale Sans But Lucratif, an international non-profit association under Belgian law.
EIPRHR’s legal identity is grounded in its statutory registration, published legal documents, and recognition of legal personality through Royal Decree. This institutional foundation enables the Institute to operate with a clear legal status, defined public-interest purpose, governance structure, and international non-profit character.

EIPRHR’s legal personality as an AISBL was formally recognized by Royal Decree* dated 18 June 2025, signed in Brussels by His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium and countersigned by the Minister of Justice, Annelies VERLINDEN.

Published Statutory Purpose
EIPRHR’s Articles of Association set out a public-interest mission of international utility.
