European Centre for Human Rights Advocacy (ECHRA) is an autonomous and independent human rights centre of excellence whose task is to monitor and to promote the implementation of fundamental and human rights and increase cooperation and exchange of information between various actors. in the EU and Internatinally with a vision that : Fundamental rights belong to everyone in the world. It does not matter who you are, what you believe or how you choose to live. 

 

With our strong worlwide network of members, human rights lawyers, social activists, volunteers, we help make the world a better place by advocating to change policies that affect people. To not to limit our participation, when required we may become voice of the human rights defenders under threat/risk working non- violently internationally as well as in Europe, for all or any rights, values and freedoms enshrined in the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights and in Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)

 

We work with stakeholders from the local to international level. Our team shares evidence-based insights and expert advice with policy- and decision-makers.

ECHRA is not limited for any particular area of fundamental and human rights but we cover all rights, values and freedoms enshrined in the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights and in Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
